In honor of a cherished member of our car club family.

At the 2025 Visalia Car Show, we had the privilege of honoring a truly remarkable individual—our fellow car club member and friend, Richard Ruminer. Richard has always been more than just a car enthusiast —he's been a cornerstone of our community. His passion for classic trucks, especially his own beautifully restored ride, has inspired admiration, sparked conversations, and turned countless heads over the years. But beyond the chrome and horsepower, it’s Richard’s kindness, humility, and generosity of spirit that has left the most lasting impression on all of us. As Richard now faces a difficult chapter in hospice care, we want him and his family to know that they are in our constant thoughts and heartfelt prayers. It was an honor to celebrate Richard and his beloved truck at this year’s show—a small gesture to recognize a man who has given so much to our club and each of us personally. Richard, thank you for sharing your passion, your stories, and your friendship. Your presence has left an indelible mark on this community, and your legacy will continue to ride on in every gathering, every show, and every engine rev.

With deepest respect and love,

Hot August Nights Qualifier

Hot August Nights Qualifier

The Visalia Pharoahs are proud to recognize Clarence Bosman and his legendary 1967 Ford GT-500 as the General's Choice winner of the 2025 Visalia Pharoahs Car Show!

Clarence's Ford GT-500 isn't just a car—it’s a time capsule of American muscle, craftsmanship, and passion. Every detail of this stunning ride, from its thunderous 427 engine to its iconic fastback silhouette, tells a story of horsepower and heritage. It captured not only the eyes of our judges' but the hearts of every car enthusiast who walked the lot.

This remarkable win now qualifies Clarence and his GT-500 for one of the most iconic automotive events in the country: Hot August Nights, taking place August 1–10 in Reno Nevada. We have no doubt this classic beauty will turn heads and leave a mark on the national stage, just as it did here in Visalia.

Congratulations, Clarence. Your dedication to preserving and showcasing such an iconic piece of automotive history inspires us all. The road to Reno begins now, and the Pharoahs of Visalia will be cheering you on every mile of the way!
